Thank you to all who generously contributed to the astounding success of the Concord High School InvenTeam!
Made possible entirely by the Lemelson-MIT program-- to which we owe a greatest appreciation.
However, the journey is not over after EurekaFest. The Concord High School InvenTeam will continue finalizing and refining the S.H.A.R.P. System for implementation in real hospitals. Along this pursuit entails filing a patent, installing a completed system, and reaching out to other hospitals.
Over the course of the InvenTeam process, we have met many generous donors who deserve recognition for helping our team:
The Lemelson-MIT foundation has awarded the students with an $8,000 InvenTeam grant to help the innovative idea become a working prototype. These funds provide a means for the Concord High School InvenTeam to get their invention off the ground.
Christiana Care has donated to the students $5,000 for their efforts to solve a real world problem in the community. These funds will help the team finish the project and travel to EurekaFest.
VWR donated $5,000 to the Concord High School InvenTeam. These funds will help fulfill post EurekaFest pursuits such as filing a patent.
Thanks to all these contributors and many others.
